Value Sunrise at 6500 Ft. Includes:
• Meet at our base office location in Kahului.
• Continental breakfast; pastries, hot fresh beverages and restrooms at our base office.
• Your Adventure will begin with a comfortable van ride up to the 6,500’ elevation of Mount Haleakala.
• You can gaze into the Maui Sky with millions of twinkling stars, meteorites and passing space satellites high above.
• As the sunrise and dawns first light approach, a panoramic one hundred mile bi-coastal view of Maui’s green central valley, the blue Pacific Ocean, West Maui Mountains and the neighbor islands of Lanai, Molokai, Molokini and Kaho’olawe light up before you as your guides point out Maui highlights.
• Your bicycle safari begins at 6500’ elevation of Mount Haleakala, outside the park, where you will gently descend the 21 switchbacks on the western slopes of the world’s largest resting volcano with only 200 yards of pedaling.
• There will be photo stops along your journey to take home Maui’s magical moments.
• You will stop for a no-host lunch at Sunrise Market and Protea Flower Farm where you can visit the flower farm and purchase souvenirs to take home.
Maui Downhill Guidelines:
- Wear warm clothing in layers.
- Competent riders - please, no beginners.
- Sorry, NO PREGNANT WOMEN.
- Minimum 12 years of age.
- 5 feet tall guideline height.
- Wear close-toed rubber soled shoes.
- Maximum weight for bike rider is 250 lbs.
- No Riders may participate with medical conditions that would adversely effect them in this activity.
- Riders must sign acknowledgement of risk & safety form.
• Safari van tour from Pukalani to the sea with information and history of Maui’s sugar cane and pineapple plantation days.
• Bicycle helmets and windbreakers are fitted to each guest for their comfort and safety.
• Tour duration approximately 5.5 hours.
Cancellations:
A 24 hour notice must be received to avoid a $50.00 per person cancellation fee.
No Shows:
Because we’ve held a seat and bicycle for a confirmed guest, any no show leaves us with a vacant spot that cannot be resold on a last minute basis. All no shows will be charged the full net rate per your contract.
